(2.6cm tall by 5.8cm long) This sweet little bear kami sculpture feels very comforting to me, very forgiving and gentle and just full of love. I think it would be a wonderful friend for when you just need some caring company and joy.
This bear statue is made from stoneware clay and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.
A white bear has been a part of my life for many years (along with kitsune, of course!), and I feel honoured to be able to help their spirits — in all colours — manifest in our world.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
