shipping
- I ship from France to a variety of countries including but not limited to France, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. However, as of 12 August 2026 and due to the EU's new PPWR legislation, I can't ship to any EU country other than France. This is a disaster, yes, and I hope it changes soon.
- If you're in the UK or Norway, I'm so sorry but I can't ship to you because of tax reasons.
- If you're not in the EU, UK, or Norway and you'd like to purchase but can't see shipping to your country, please contact me. It's possible that I just didn't add a profile for you (for which I apologise): there are a lot of countries and only one of me.
- Regarding US shipping, I am now shipping to the US again! The shipping cost is unfortunately higher than it was before as there's only one service now, but I hope this will change. But sculptures are exempt from tariffs (US gov't statement at https://www.help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1146?language=en_US). And if you buy two or three, shipping will only go up by some euros (heavier items aside, but even then, it won't go up by much). I will of course refund excess shipping fees as always: either contact me first or just order and I'll refund. The site can *not* automatically calculate combined shipping, so please don't panic when you see a big number! Just ask me for a quote.
(And an awkward note: I will, at least for now, have to cancel US orders where the item value is less than or within 20€ of the shipping cost, I'm so sorry. This is because it ruins me taxes wise, given I'm not allowed to claim expenses, and artificially inflates my income. I'm trying to find a solution!) - As of 13 December 2024, there are certain products that I can't sell to France as a result of the EU's GPSR legislation. These are primarily pendants/bracelets and candle houses. The administrative burden on these items is just too great, so I've had to discontinue their availability in Europe. My apologies.
- Shipping is calculated based on your location and the weight / size of the item(s) in question. If you’re trying to buy more than one thing and the shipping cost seems absurd, please contact me.
- All single-item orders apart from to the US will be sent tracked but not insured unless they are of a higher value (e.g., large spirit houses). If you want insurance on a single-item order, please contact me for a quote. (All US orders are sent insured automatically.)
- As of 23 July 2026, I aim to send all parcels (excluding custom orders) within 3 weeks. This is so as not to overwhelm my health and also because we live a bit of a trek from the post office. However! I will send things as soon as I can, so it may be quicker. And if you need something sooner, please contact me, and I'll see what I can do.
- Orders are sent by La Poste (the French postal service) or its subsidiary Delivengo. However, if you'd like a quote for UPS, please ask.
- All orders are sent tracked; you will receive your tracking number via e-mail once your parcel has shipped. French tracking can be slow to update, but it (almost) always works eventually.
- I am not responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that you may have to pay; please check with your local postal service for details of any fees for which you may be liable.
- I cannot guarantee delivery times, but as a general rule, France is around 48 hours, US & Canada are around 2 weeks, the rest of the world is 2-3 weeks. Approximately!
- As a micro-business, I am exempt from EU cross-border VAT rules.
refunds and returns
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact me immediately. In-stock orders can be cancelled up till the time I buy the postage label: usually you’ve got a few days, but my posting schedule is flexible. Custom orders can be cancelled up until the time I begin work unless we agree different terms at the beginning. Please talk to me, and we’ll work out what’s best for us both.
I accept returns on all items in their original condition with the exception of custom orders. If you wish to return an item, please contact me (within 14 days of having received your order) for instructions and a returns form. All return postage is the responsibility of the buyer / returner. Once I have received the item back and checked it’s still in as-new condition, I will refund your order cost in full minus your original shipping fee.
packaging and recycling
All orders are shipped very safely packed in recycled packing. I use paper and cardboard wherever I can and try to avoid plastic, but please recycle / reuse your packaging materials whatever they are.
