(4.7cm tall) Here is a beautiful kodama tree and forest spirit guardian sculpture. This little one feels full of sadness at the state of things but also full of the magic we need to help us turn it all around. It does not understand the human world, but then why would it? The human world is not very understandable these days. I think it wants to help us reconnect to nature and a truer reality, and dusk — when the world is changing and quietening and the magical stars are waking up — is a good time to do it.
This kodama is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the magical effects of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
