(4.2cm tall) Here is another sweet and gentle little kodama kami nature spirit. This one feels like the very first hints of spring, full of the promise of life and renewal. I think it would like to help us reconnect to nature and find spring in our own lives too. It would be wonderful as a friend or guardian spirit and could also live on a nature table or Shinto shrine.
It has been fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
