(7.2cm tall) Here is a beautiful and serene mother earth spirit sculpture. She encompasses all of earth and sky and although she feels solemn and a little sad, she feels whole too, like all that is, was, and shall be. She has a beautiful glaze disturbance pattern on her body like little bubbles, floating gently through the air.
She has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
