(6.7cm tall) Here is a very gentle and very wise bird friend. It feels to me like a guide and guardian, like a being to help bring us into light and comfort again when it seems like there are too many shadows around. And like a lovely, encouraging companion for those days that feel like they go on forever.
It's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
