(4.1cm tall) Here is another sweet and gentle little kodama kami nature spirit. This one feels like a time of transition, either between winter and spring or just in our lives and the world. I think it would like to help us reconnect to nature and find our path forward. It would be wonderful as a friend or guardian spirit and could also live on a nature table or Shinto shrine.
It has been fired once, glazed in forest greens, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
