(4.4cm tall) Here is a gentle kodama kami full of the softness of a new spring. It feels full of light and hope and kindness too, and like it wants to share those with us. And it's extra special because it's rain raku itself. Those little spiderweb patterns in the glaze are where raindrops fell on the sculpture when the glaze was still vitrifying. Natural magic.

It has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
