(4.4cm tall) Here is a happy little earth and water friend, a bit like a frog but not quite. It holds the energy of earth and wetlands, of green and sun, flow and life. And is a very happy and gentle being!
This nature spirit statue is made of stoneware and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
