(4.5cm tall by 10.4cm long) Here is another raven being, and again, I had to ask it for help along the way when I was making it. I just let it take its shape as we went along. It feels very kind, very friendly, and very loving to me, like a wise and completely accepting friend. It carries past, present, and future, and I hope that it can help to carry us through them all too.
This raven (or crow / corvid?) statue is made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
