(3.0cm tall by 7.9cm long) Here is a kind and gentle Shinto Inari kitsune fox who feels very cosy, calm, and contented. A calm little spirit spirit to remind you that just like nature rests sometimes, we need to rest too.
It is made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the amazing gifts of flame and smoke.
Kitsune are the fox-messengers of the Shinto kami Inari Okami: the deity of rice, sake, agriculture, fertility, tea, and prosperity, among other things. Kitsune foxes guard Inari shrines and carry his/her messages to us.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
