(3.0cm tall) Here is a very characterful little bird friend. It seems quite sure of itself and the fact that it's a September bird; I don't really know much more about it, but it tells me that's enough. (It would make a lovely friend, I do know that much: it sits very nicely in the palm of the hand and would probably want to stay there. )
It's made from stoneware clay, fired once, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
