(3.3cm tall by 7.1cm long) This little calico cat sculpture is so very gentle and so very sleepy, and it just wants everything to stop for a little while so it can rest. But once it's done, it'll be ready to play. It just needs a loving home, a kind friend, and the space to know it's ok to slow down.
This cat kami is made from stoneware clay and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
