(6.0cm tall) This little nature guardian is full of the energy of spring, tentative at first, but full of strength, growth, and renewal. It would be lovely for a nature table, Shinto kamidana shrine, for shamanism, or any kind of nature worship.
It has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
