(5.0cm tall) Here is a gentle kodama tree and forest spirit guardian sculpture who brings with it the change and tranquility of evening. It hopes to help us learn to transition from the busyness of the day to a quieter time, to rest, and to a chance to look inwards, up at the sky, and all around.
This kodama is made of stoneware, glazed in non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the magical effects of fire and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
