(6.7cm tall) Here is a beautiful kodama tree and forest spirit guardian sculpture glazed in the colours of the transgender pride flag. At this time of so much division and anger, I think it wants to remind us that we're all here sharing this beautiful planet together, and that we're all beautiful too. We are all a part of nature, and it's a part of all of us. Maybe if we can focus more on what we share than how we're different, the world might be a kinder and more gentle place.
This little kodama is made from stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the gifts of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
