(3.7cm tall) Here is a happy cloud! This lovely little friend is a reminder of lighter days and of the joy in just looking up and watching the sky go past. And this one is extra special because it's rain raku! Those little spiderweb patterns in the glaze are where raindrops fell on the sculpture when the glaze was still vitrifying. Natural magic!
This cloud sculpture is made of stoneware clay, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with non-toxic materials.
