Here is a very beautiful raku spirit cave (or fairy cottage!) full of the magic of winter nights, quiet forests, glittering starlight, and memories of the glow of a warm fire. It's carved in the kurinuki technique and would be beautiful as a shrine, altar, or seasonal decoration.
It is 8.4cm tall, and at its base, it's 5.3cm wide by 4.8cm deep.
This spirit cave is made of stoneware, glazed with non-toxic glaze, and raku fired for the beautiful effects of flame and smoke.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
