Kodama are tree spirits in Japanese folklore; yokai of deep forests and old trees. These little guardian kodama who come through the clay always feel to me like they want to help us reconnect with nature and wildness, step back into the magical forests and remember who we really are, why we're really here. They're wonderful companions for anyone who needs a friend and a reminder of green things in the world outside.
