(5.6cm tall) This kodama tree spirit kami is full of the magic of forests and wild places. It feels innocent and timeless somehow, like it can help us to bridge the gap between was was, is, and shall be. It would be wonderful as a friend or guardian spirit and could also live on a nature table or Shinto shrine.
It has been fired once, glazed in soft greens, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
