Gentle Jizo evening heart guardian statue | Shinto kamidana shrine friend
€30.00
(4.4cm tall) This lovely and gentle Jizo sculpture would be a wonderful friend for anyone who needs some comfort and calm, and help just to slow down and be. She feels like a deep breath and contentment at the end of a long day.
She's made of stoneware clay, fired once, glazed for peace and tranquility, and then raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.
Jizo is a Japanese Shinto spirit, a kami who found his way to Japan through Buddhism. He is a guardian of women, children, and travellers; he comforts us through grief and bereavement.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
(I am happy to combine postage on all items. Please either message me before you order and I can create a custom listing, or just order and I'll refund any excess postage fees. Thank you!)
