Happy Jizo friend sculpture | Shinto raku guardian statue kamidana shrine, hope
€26.00
(5.1cm tall) Here is a lovely and happy Jizo sculpture to help bring some gentleness and nature to your days and remind you that this crazy world humans have created is not the only one.
Jizo is made of stoneware clay, fired once, glazed for peace and tranquility, and then raku fired for the beautiful effects of smoke and flame.
Jizo is a Japanese Shinto spirit, a kami who found his way to Japan through Buddhism. He is a guardian of women, children, and travellers; he comforts us through grief and bereavement.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only non-toxic material.
(I am happy to combine postage on all items. Please either message me before you order and I can create a custom listing, or just order and I'll refund any excess postage fees. Thank you!)
