(4.3cm tall) Here is another sweet and gentle kodama kami. It's a very quiet little tree spirit who just wants to live happily with the trees and plants and maybe to show us how we can do that too. It would be wonderful as a friend or guardian spirit and could also live on a nature table or Shinto shrine.
It has been fired once, glazed in soft greens, and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
