It's Octosquid! I wasn't intending to make Octosquid, but then there it was! It's a very happy little friend, full of optimism and joy and a bit of gentleness too.
Octoquid is made from stoneware clay and has been fired once, glazed, and then raku fired for the amazing gifts of smoke and flame.
Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, gentleness, and spirit to the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with natural materials.
